Customer Sales Representative
Become a trusted expert with Spikes and Houles! Our Loretto location is seeking to hire a part time Customer Sales Representative for evening and weekend hours.
This position offers an opportunity to assist our customers in the care and nutrition of their animals as well as their lawns and gardens.
Candidates 16 yrs of age or older with availability 3p-7p during the week and Saturday and Sunday availability desired.

Join the team voted Best Feed Store for 2021, 2022, AND 2023! What will I do day to day?o Sell specific products and services to consumers, discussing warranties and replacement parts.
o Check inventory to ensure product is in stock and ensure pricing is correct.
o Bag and package purchases.
o Operate cash registers and collect methods of payment and dispense change.
o Collect and research information needed to identify and resolve problematic situations.
o Count the day's money transactions at the end of the day.
o Set up display cases and stock shelves, maintaining proper stock rotation o Determine seasonal trends and adjust displays as needed.
o Distribute coupons and verify that coupons are not expired.
o Store organization including maintenance and cleaning.
o Receive product and assist with inventory control.
o Load customer vehicles and promote our carry out service.
o Maintain plants and outdoor displays o Safely handle live chicks o Other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
o Customer focused, excellent communication and listening skills, ability to learn and execute the concept.
o Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
o Must be at least 16 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
o Some bending/kneeling/stooping required.
o Regular communication with team members, leadership and guests.
o Some carrying, moving, and positioning of objects and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
o Prolonged periods of standing and walking, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds continuously.
